Do you have to let your opponents see the number of cards in your hand while playing rummy 500?My wife insists that you don't. I say it's cheating because you don't know whether you should pick up cards from the discard pile. Please provide a source for your answer as "cuz I said so" doesn't work. Thanks

hmmm... The rules don't specify whether you have to or not; however, in order to win you must have 0 cards in your hand, so there does need to be some sort of communication/verification for that last card. I personally don't see why you wouldn't. There are many variations on the game; so, you could always just make a special rule for it if you need the definiteness.

No I do not think it is cheating, but I have only played Rummy a few times. A quick search on the rules and you should be able to find out.
